ComCab Liverpool has won the contract to provide patient transfer services for Island patients.
The company will taxi people travelling to appointments in the North West from Monday, March 27th.
It follows a tender process which saw longstanding firm Bridgewater Cars lose the deal.
The Department of Health and Social Care says people travelling with ComCab will receive a “first class service”.
The department says ComCab has 15 years experience providing patient transport for the North West Ambulance Service and the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
